Snuggellow is a family owned and operated business located in Canberra, Australia. The Snuggellow has been a dream of mine for 14 years and it all began when I was pregnant with my daughter and was having so many issues getting comfortable and couldn't get a good night's sleep. I started sewing up prototypes myself to start to put my vision to life. I came up with the design of the "Nook" as no matter what pillow I used I was constantly waking up with a dead arm or sore neck/shoulders. I knew that if I could create a spot for my shoulder to slip in to that I would solve this issue. The Nook design allows you to fully insert into the Snuggellow, so you can be supported from the front, neck and back at the same time.
In 2009, I took my design to Therapeautic Pillows International in Melbourne, where we were able to collaborate (my design and their manufacturing), to come up with the Side Snuggler. I am now able to bring out my upgraded version the Snuggellow, February 2023!
The Snuggellow™ has been designed to encourage our sleepers to sleep on their side. Research has shown that side sleeping is the healthiest position to sleep in and has many crucial health benefits such as, improved spinal alignment, reduced snoring, digestion, brain health and most importantly pregnancy.
